Merle Lambert Pestel, age 94, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday morning, July 3, 2015 at the Woodland Hospice House near Mt. Pleasant.  Merle was born on May 22, 1921 in Glen Flora Wisconsin, the son of Oscar and Hannah Pestel.

     Merle was an electrician in the construction business.  

     Merle is survived by a son, Steve R. Pestel of Mt. Pleasant.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

     Funeral serivces for Merle are being planned for Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home, 120 Fritz Avenue East, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin 54848 with burial in the Glen View Cemetery in Glen Flora, Wisconsin.
